Drs. Marinela and Robert Nemetz founded our Jacksonville practice with a simple belief: every patient deserves care that's both clinically excellent and genuinely personal. Today, we're proud to care for second- and third-generation families who started here as kids.

Dr. Marinela Nemetz

Board Certified Pediatric Dentist

Originally from Texas, Dr. Marinela earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston in 1996. She then completed a two-year pediatric dentistry residency at the University of Texas in Houston and Hermann Hospital. A Board Certified Pediatric Dentist and Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, she advocates for early dental care through an educational program for local preschools and elementary schools. She and her staff visit schools with their mascot, Freddy Flossisaurous, to teach children that caring for their teeth—and visiting the dentist—can be fun. Dr. Marinela moved to Jacksonville in 2001 and lives in Julington Creek with her husband, Bob, and their children, Joseph and Danielle. Outside the office, she enjoys family time and community activities.

Dr. Robert Nemetz

Prosthodontist & Periodontist

Dr. Robert earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1987 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri–Kansas City in 1991. He continued his training for five years, specializing in prosthodontics at the VA Medical Center in Buffalo and the State University of New York at Buffalo, then in periodontics at the University of Texas–Houston, where he also completed a Master of Science in Oral Biology. His clinical emphasis spans restorative and cosmetic dentistry, crowns and bridges, dentures and partials, surgical and non-surgical periodontics, oral medicine, periodontal plastic surgery, bone augmentation, implantology, TMJ therapy, and oral sedation. His approach is conservative and technology-forward, with patient comfort central to every dental experience. Dr. Robert entered private practice in Mandarin in 2004 and enjoys golfing, fishing, and spending time with his family.
